West African Drum Circle | CCCG

Drumming has been used since ancient times for many purposes in cultures worldwide. Therapeutically, it has been shown to have positive effects on health and may help manage stress, fatigue, anxiety and chronic pain.

Group drumming supports a sense of personal and group worth through participation, self-expression, sharing and accomplishment.

Participants will be able to experience being in a drum circle, have an opportunity to learn a West African drum rhythm and song, and learn about the latest research on the use of drumming as a therapeutic approach.
