You will experience Buddhist meditation and pass your skills on to your clients to reduce stress, improve coping, and restructure false narratives.

- Participants will:
- Understand the connections and similarities between CBT principles and the Buddhist “Five Conditions”
- Be able to list evidence-based mental health, emotional and stress reduction benefits of meditation and mindfulness
- Experience brief Buddhist practice to facilitate healthy restructuring of negative personal narratives
- Be able to apply new skills to clinical practice with specific, teachable skills for clients to reduce stress and reframe experiences
3 core CE hours approved by the Licensed Professional Counselors Association
of Georgia and the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work. (Related hours for LMFTs)
