    Participants will:

  • Understand the connections and similarities between CBT principles and the Buddhist “Five Conditions”
  • Be able to list evidence-based mental health, emotional and stress reduction benefits of meditation and mindfulness
  • Experience brief Buddhist practice to facilitate healthy restructuring of negative personal narratives
  • Be able to apply new skills to clinical practice with specific, teachable skills for clients to reduce stress and reframe experiences

3 core CE hours approved by the Licensed Professional Counselors Association
of Georgia and the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work. (Related hours for LMFTs)
