Melanie Storrusten, LCSW
Melanie specializes in helping others work on recovery from addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-worth, and the LGBTQ community. A graduate of Valdosta State University, she is a certified as a yoga instructor and clinical supervisor. Her therapeutic work experience includes recovery facilities such as Foundations Recovery Network, Fresh Start Recover, and now Align Wellness Solutions.

Kristy is certified in the specialized treatment of addiction and trauma-related disorders. She has worked with substance use disorders in inpatient and outpatient capacities for seven years. She has developed several psychoeducational group curricula and has trained clinical and non-clinical staff in the care of those struggling with trauma and substance-related disorders. Kristy is coordinator of CCCG’s new IOP for Addiction Recovery.
