Counselor Training Program
The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia offers a Professional Residency Program for those interested in or practicing counseling and psychotherapy. This program is integrated into the core mission of CCCG and provides outstanding clinical training and educational opportunities.
This program offers opportunities to:
- Practice counseling and therapy with persons who are seeking help
- Reflect on that practice in individual supervision and small groups
- Study psychological theory
- Develop skills in case formulation and diagnosis
Participants in this program will be able to acquire clinical and supervision hours that may be applied toward licensure in Georgia as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist.
The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia strives to create a program that reflects the diversity of our community. We believe that this is important for the continuing success of our organization. We will not discriminate against an applicant because of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, creed, religion, national origin, ethnic background, disability, citizenship, marital or veteran status. We encourage multilingual candidates and those with a passion for our mission:
Offering healing, wholeness and hope to those in need, and educating others for this service.
