Join us for a workshop on eating disorders. Learn about the latest standards of care, common myths and facts, medical complications, and the use of a team approach to coordinate care. We will explore working with families, culture and gender issues in treatment.
- Assess clients for eating disorder symptoms
- Know when to refer to a specialist or higher level of care
- Learn to effectively coordinate care with specialists
- Know which treatment modalities are used in working with eating disorders
- Effectively address cultural and gender issues
3 core hours of CE credit applied for with the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work, and the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. You must be on time and stay for the entire event to receive CE credit.
